Doug Ryder the team principle says the time is not in favor of Mark Cavendish after he was found positive with glandular fever in the beginning of this month, the team is still hopeful that he will be all fine and fit for the Tour de France, which is going to start in July.
Team Dimension Data (TDD) is hopeful that Cavendish will soon recover and will be all fine by the time the Tour de France will begin. After checking the process report of the player, Cavendish in the beginning of this May 2017, was diagnosed with mononucleosis infection, which is popularly known as glandular fever.
Nevertheless, Doug Ryder team principal admitted that time is not on their side.

Patrick Lefevere, Quick-Step Floors team boss has said he is not yet sure as to the future of the team considering the unavailability of a title sponsor for the squad beyond 2017.
Lefevere is seeking to confirm a title sponsor for the team before the year runs out and has noted that he would take a decision on the future of his team before the Tour de France starts out in July.
Leading the 2017 win count so far is the Belgian WorldTour team, which includes the likes of Marcel Kittel, Tom Boonen, and many other stars with 13 victories. Following closely behind is BMC Racing with 11 wins and Orica-Scott with 10.
Speaking to Het Nieuwsblad newspaper, Lefevere said:
“The sponsorship agreement that we have only covers this season and we still haven’t managed to find someone who can take the place of the Quick-Step,”

The 2016 Tour of Britain is eagerly awaited by the racing fans and it is set to take place in September.
The reigning Olympic silver medalist Mark Cavendish has given his nod to be part of the Tour of Britain and will be seen at Congleton.
The 8 time Olympic gold medalist Sir Bradley Wiggins will also be taking part in the race at Congleton on September 6. This will be the first race that these two star cyclists will be taking part after their successful Rio stint. The other big names to watch out for during the Tour of Britain are: Steve Cummings, Andre Greipel and Owain Doull.
The Tour of Britain commences on September 4 and then heads on to Carlisle, Kendal and arrives at Congleton for the third stage on 6th September. The race director, Mick Bennett, is very happy that the Olympic champions have said ‘yes’ to take part in the Tour of Britain, just over three weeks of the Olympics event.

He states that he had been on junk food when he was young and when he started to work at Barclays he was called the fat banker as he was quite chubby. He lived on burgers and chips. For 2016, Rio Olympics Cavendish is unable to make the final cut as pointed out by Shane Sutton the chief of British cycling. In his search for grabbing an Olympic medal, Cavendish wanted to be in the omnium. He was not able to compete in 2008 as well as 2012. He is all out to expand his career of the road but unfortunately it is all over for him. He is the track World Champion to times.
Sutton points out that if Cavendish wants to make a return he can but time is running out for qualification. The date for cut off is not mentioned. He thinks that his hope is all over to race in the Rio. In the fourth as well as the final stage of Dubai tour, Cavendish sprinted to victory. He got ten seconds more as a bonus. Starting after seconds behind John the leader, the stage ended at Burj Khalifa.
The total time taken by Cavendish was 15 hours, 22 minutes and 38 seconds. He was ahead of the German, Degenkolb riding for Team Giant. Cavendish was ecstatic after the victory. He had fire in his belly which proved that he could perform. It is extremely special for him to win at Dubai. The sprint was not flat and he savoured every moment by stating that all worked hard to achieve the desired result.Continue Reading
